CNC thread cutting is an area that I would really like to learn more about. I have not yet figured out how to do this using CAD/CAM although the Dolphin software that I use is capable of generating the G-Code for this operation. My lathe is equipped with a custom spindle encoder so that I can do threading operations under CNC control. I hope to have more to share in this section soon.
I am interested in learning how to thread on:
- Lathe: 2 Examples (Inside & Outside threads with a groove and part-off)
- On Mill: 2 Examples (Inside & Outside)
