Presenting our ideas in OneNote
thumbAmy & Wendy present their robot idea to the team.jpg Today, Wendy and I prepared a presentation about an idea that the team has been discussing. The subject of the presentation was the RPAC, which stands for Robotic Personal Assistance Cart. This will be used to help people who face physical challenges moving around. My sister Wendy and I used Microsoft Paint to create pictures of what we thought the robot should look like. Once we finished creating the pictures, we pasted them into Microsoft OneNote so that we could organize our ideas. We did not have a lot of time to work in OneNote but it was very useful to use for the presentation. All we had to do was hit two buttons.

Wendy and I then gave our presentation using the LiveBoard to display our slides from OneNote. Wendy spoke while I managed the computer. The team was impressed with the quality of our presentation and we will use some of the ideas that we presented.  Faith made a working model of her idea for a stair-climbing robot and a self-adjusting basket. I really liked her idea of using gravity to balance the basket when the robot is in motion.

After the presentation, we took cardboard and made a simple model to test our ideas.
